It began in November of 1998 when Lori and I met in ICQ. I was about to give up
hope on ever finding anyone to love and to be loved by.
MY PART OF THIS LOVE STORY
When we met Lori lived in Iowa(still does) she was coming to Michigan about 35
miles from where I was at. We made arrangements to meet in Temperance Michigan
at a shopping center parking lot. When we met there weren't sparks just
fireworks. We went to a park and walked and talked all day. We had a great
time.
The more we talked in ICQ or on the phone the closer we got. I would buy a 2-3
hour phone card and use it up and one time. After talking more and more we
figured one of us would be moving to the other one's state. We figured that
would happen about Feburary or March. We couldn't wait that long so I moved to
Iowa to be with her January 1st. She would have had more to lose by moving
than I did.
I have never felt so close to anyone as I do Lori. Alot of times is af if we
can read each others minds. It seems like so many times we are thinking the
same thing. I have never been as happy with anyone as I am when I am with her.
We have our problems but what couple doesn't have some kind of problems. We
have worked through quite a few problems since we have been together.
To me Lori is everything I have ever dreamed of. She is kind, considerate and
loving. She never complains about anything, and living with me that says alot.
LORI'S PART OF THIS LOVE STORY
When we first met my mom was dying and I was also going through a divorce I
didn't think I wanted. But when we met in person, it changed my mind quick.
Tom is everything a girl would want in a guy. He is kind, considerate and
cares of everyones feelings. The day we met in person it felt so good just to
sit and talk about our feelings, also our feelings towards other things.
It seemed like we were always talking on ICQ or on the phone. We always seemed
to find things to talk about. Sometimes we would talk a few minutes or then
there was times we would talk for hours. Then it came to making a decision. We
weren't satisfied with just talking. So we made plans to be together. It was
decided Tom would move here since I had a good job here. So first of January my
youngest son and I went to Michigan to move him and his daughter here, in a
blizzard. It was a terrible storm but it was well worth it.
